What is Green Island?
Green Island is a cannabis business based on Vancouver Island, BC. They specialize in home-grown, high quality cannabis and extracts, for for both recreational and medicinal use. Green Island is serious about providing help for those with symptoms of conditions such as chronic pain and anxiety. Green Island strives to exude fun, cool, open-minded vibes as well as remaining elevated and professional.
The Design
The main logo for Green Island focuses on a customized typeface with a soft "wave" shape horizontally through the middle, symbolic of the beautiful ocean that surrounds Vancouver Island. The funky wavy and rounded lettering is inspired by clouds/plumes and rising smoke. The more thinly stroked and detailed marijuana leaf balances the more loose shapes that are in the typeface, bringing in a natural and holistic touch.
