I'm Alex,

I was born & raised in a small town on Vancouver Island in BC, Canada. I was a kid who loved drawing and making everything "look prettier", even if it was just a boring math quiz or front of a school binder crammed with doodles. Long story short - I began taking drawing lessons after school, then I started going (a little too) edit-happy with Photoshop, and that is what led me along the path of deciding to earn a degree in Graphic Design.

I'm currently working in the Lower Mainland full time as an in-house Graphic Designer on a marketing team, and taking on the occasional freelance or personal project after hours. 

A few graphic design-y things I love: Delicious colour palettes, deeper meanings within logos, highly detailed photoshop edits, and anything involved in layout & typography.

A few not graphic design-y things I love: My fancy cats Phoebe & Daphne, horror movies, reading, pigs, old architecture, nature, travel, collecting antique oddities and vintage furniture.
